According to weight watchers 95% of people who loose weight put it back on again. Sadly, with todays climate so highly geared towards fast and unhealthy junk food, McDonalds, KFC and Burger King in virtually every city in the world, it is harder than ever to stay slim. There are temptations everywhere, you only have to turn on the television and you are bombarded with images of pizza and happy smiling families, this is enough to start even the strongest of us salivating. It is so important to remain level headed and be able to say no to junk food. It is really hard when it is all so delicious. Does it really matter if we just have an ice cream today as long as we don’t tomorrow?
From personal experience I know that if we really need to eat healthily (if we have a health scare or other life changing reason) we can do it. But in day to day life as we carry on as normal why is it so hard? There are so many reasons why we over eat, ranging from mild anxiety to severe depression. We may be able to think back to a time that it all began or we may not. But one thing is for certain the best way to take control of your eating is to take control of your unconcious mind, forget about food and make weight loss your number one priority.
